The course is especially designed as a fundamental course in Business Management for aspiring managers .This course is an ideal option for working professionals who wish to study further or gain expertise in relevant areas of management and earn a respectable master’s degree. A candidate may also pursue one year MBS after the completion of this course. The MBS and PGDM course is equivalent to an MBA Degree.
This is an ideal course for employees looking to climb up the corporate ladder. The two year PGDM enables students to pursue MBS (equivalent to MBA) which will put them on a fast track to professional growth.
Candidates seeking admission to this course must have one of the following:
1. An Engineering Diploma graduate from a recognized Polytechnic Institute with one year professional work experience. If the diploma is after HSC, candidates must have two years of professional work experience after the same.
2. A Bachelor's degree in Commerce/ Arts/ Science/ Mental, Moral or Social Science/ Engineering or Technology from any approved Indian or Foreign University.
3. Appearing for their final year degree examination in any discipline of an approved University.
Second year students are required to submit a project work report of about 5000 words in their Semester III. The report needs to be based on first-hand study of Management Functions. Students need to secure minimum of 50% marks in the project work. The submission of this report is mandatory to be eligible for Semester IV examination.
