    Objective:

    The two years full-time Master's Degree course is designed to create software professionals specifically for software commercial applications. The course with the presently revised syllabi is very comprehensive, and meets the current requirements of the IT industry.

    Job Opportunities:

    MCM is gaining recognition amongst the industries. This is evident from a large number of MCM students getting placed in reputed companies. .

    1. MCM graduates can start their career as junior programmers and grow up to the post of senior programmers, systems analysts and project leaders etc. The more enterprising ones start on their own, others opt for research or further studies.

    2. Areas of commercial application like banking, finance etc. provide employment avenues for the graduates Currently MCM Graduates are making their presence felt in the systems area too.

    3. Areas of testing, tech support and networking also provide job opportunities.

    Eligibility:

    Students who are appearing for final year Degree examination or candidates who have passed their Graduate examination through any faculty of approved University in India. Candidates having passed the ADCA course of University of Pune in First Class are eligible to apply for MCM, 2nd year.

    Internship:

    Every student of MCM has to undergo a project assignment (Industrial training) between the second and third semester of their course for a period of two months. The training would exclusively focus on software development in either commercial application areas. The project should be aimed at implementing all analysis, designing and programming tools that have been learnt in the course curriculum.

    Admission Process:


    Admissions for the above course will be based on merit for their performance in Written Test and Personal Interview (P.I.).
    Candidates who have appeared for MAT/ATMA/CAT/XAT/ NAT are exempted from IBMR Written Entrance Test and will have to appear only for Personal Interview. Candidates wishing to appear for Written Test & or Personal Interview or only for Personal Interview must fill up the application form given in the prospectus. The Prospectus costs Rs. 1000/- only. The amount may be paid in cash or by Demand Draft in favour of Director, IBMR, Chinchwad, payable at Pune
