2. Academic initiatives:

		Executive Programs : IBMR has been conducting part time evening courses in management and has an excellent track record of 23years to prove this. These courses are approved by University of Pune and are targeted towards the middle and top management. The courses conducted at ASM’s IBMR are PGDBM, MBS, PGDMM, PGDFT, PGDMLM
		Alliances: The institute has tie-ups with Oracle University & IBM for offering various certificate courses
		Oracle WDP: The institute has a tie up for the Work Force Development Program (WDP) with Oracle University. This is a giant step towards bridging the gap between Industry & Academia. The program enables the institute to provide the DBA and SQL 9i track. The curriculum is designed & developed by Oracle, on completion of the track Oracle provides a participation certificate to all participants and discounts vouchers in case the student wants to go in for certification. The advantage is subsidized charges for the training and improved opportunities for jobs. IBM-PIE: IBMR are life long partners in education with IBM. As Partners in Education we impart courses in AS/400e and Rational Rose. The courses are offered at subsidized charges, that everyone can take advantage of.
		Seminars & Guest Lectures: Seminars, workshops & guest lectures are carried out on regular basis to enrich the student’s academic inputs with industry relevant information. 		Event Management: We have very good experience in managing and coordinating corporate events and have been doing it for the past few years successfully. The H.K. Firodia awards, Pune Expo, CDMA, KPO meet, Pune Super achievers awards…. and many more
		Mindscape: ASM’s IBMR conducts annually its “MINDSCAPE” case study competition where industry executive teams are invited to share their expertise and discuss with the students. The has become a very effective tool in improving the Industry Institute Interaction, since the students personally visit each of these organizations to discuss aspects of case study development & its presentation. This provides very good opportunity for the industries to hone their presentation skills and apply their expertise to solve the case study, this also promotes healthy competition.
		Super achievers: At ASM we honor excellence. The corporate leaders inspire and motivate our students to excel in this field, as an endeavor to recognize the contribution made by these professionals, and the role that they have played in the grooming of our students, ASM has initiated the Super achievers Award in the Year 2006.
